How Do You Hope to Make A Difference at ShipMonk?

It’s Women’s History Month – the perfect time to meet some of the women who are making things happen at ShipMonk. These women represent a small (but mighty!) fraction of the 944 women who work at ShipMonk today, including the newest members of #teamgreen, joining us via the recent Ruby Has merger-acquisition. If you haven’t met them yet, you probably will soon!

We asked each of these women a series of questions to help get to know them better. Over the next few weeks we’ll share their answers. In this first installment, we asked how they hoped to make a difference at ShipMonk. Here’s what they said.

How Do You Hope to Make A Difference at ShipMonk?

Chelsea Williams-Fox, Human Resources

“My strategy to help make a difference while working at ShipMonk is to bring the knowledge I have gained over the last 16 months at Ruby Has prior to the merger-acquisition. I plan to include innovation in many areas, including strategies for more effective teamwork and communication among members of our HR team and operations. I can also bring to ShipMonk, not only my ideas from my previous work experience, but my general passion for innovation as well. I hope to expand my 3pl distribution knowledge and assist the company in the growing process.”

Maria K. Garcia, Corporate HR Business Partner

“As a part of the HR team, I’m working toward a full merging of ShipMonk and Ruby Has, which means we’ll get the best of both worlds. I think company culture and engagement from the warehouse and corporate levels are so vital in our future success. I hope that we’re able to build a company culture that everyone loves.”

Christine Warren, VP of Client Success

“I plan to leverage my experience with managing larger retail brands, and best practices for account management and revenue protection/growth.”

Kathryn Andrews, Marketing Ops Manager

“By using my knowledge, eagerness to learn, and dedication to continue to find innovative solutions that make an impact on our growth and success.”

Inbar Presman, Quality and Safety

“By doing three main things:

  1. Being a problem solver
  2. Taking full responsibility of my roles
  3. Going the extra mile”

We have no doubt these women will succeed at anything they choose to do. After all, they’ve already helped make ShipMonk a leading force in the world of ecommerce fulfillment.
